There are two twin beds and a Queen size sleeper sofa in the upstairs loft. This is a great option for two families, because it adds more space with it’s own seating area equipped with fireplace, TV with DVD and CD player. This house has all of the amenities and comforts of home with the best of the best. There is Vonage phone that you can use to call the states for free and receive calls from a US area code. No pets and no smoking please. Much of the bedding, wall hangings and table runners come from India. In addition there are pictures from China, the Czech Republic and Spain, framed textiles from Guatemala, rugs from Peru, silk fabrics from Bhutan and Thailand and other items including pillows from Egypt, Burma or Myanmar and even Ireland. Of course, we have focused heavily on Mexican handicrafts and folk art. We have tried to support local artisans and have purchased the beds and much of the furniture locally. I love Mexican folk art and hope to expand my collection as I travel around Mexico in the coming years. Most of the art on the walls is substantially done by local artists as well. I have also tried to bring in books relating to Mexican design, art, artists and folk art as well as Mexican history and religion. Even the music and films I have provided showcase Mexican artists and films. Mexico has a wonderful history and culture and I want you to appreciate it as much as I do.
