The Weybridge Collection is a private collection of the finest homes in the world. Members of The Weybridge Collection’s Global Exchange Program open their second home for other Exchange Program Members to visit. When you host a fellow Member at your second home, you earn Weybridge Currency. You spend Weybridge Currency when you visit another home in the Collection.

The Weybridge Collection has developed a state-of-the-art property search and reservation system to select the properties that fit your needs and your travel plans. You simply search for a home you would like to visit, select the dates of travel and make a reservation at www.WeybridgeCollection.com. When you host a Member at your home, you select the times you wish to make your home available to Members and are notified when a visit has been scheduled. At any time, you may also easily add, remove or change the dates when your property is available.

Weybridge Currency

Weybridge Currency is what you spend when you visit a home and what you earn when another Member visits your home. Weybridge Currency is awarded when you initially join The Weybridge Collection Global Exchange Program and additional Weybridge Currency is earned each time you host a Member in your home. The value of the Currency will always be in US Dollars. When you become a Member you are given an initial Weybridge Currency and are free to spend your currency on visiting other properties immediately. Your Weybridge Currency balance is stored in the Member section of www.WeybridgeCollection.com and is automatically added or subtracted to your account when you visit a property or host a Member.

Guaranteed Weeks

You must open your home for at least one peak season week and one shoulder season week each year in the Collection. The seasons are determined when you join The Weybridge Collection. You are free to change a week any time unless a reservation has been made for that week. The Weybridge Currency you may charge during the guaranteed weeks is set by The Weybridge Collection and is based on the approximate market rental value in US dollars.

Optional Time

Optional time is all time outside of the required guaranteed weeks. You may open as much time as you wish in addition to the guaranteed weeks. You may also charge whatever Weybridge Currency as you wish and may set the dates for as many or as few consecutive days as you wish. The more time you open to other Members the more Weybridge Currency you are likely to earn.

Experiences

Host Members are encouraged to come up with suggested experiences for their guests which could be an art class, a wine-tasting tour or a local festival. This creates a memorable travel experience for the guest.

Your Home, Your Rules

You are encouraged to sets custom rules that suit your preferences for your home. Should a visiting Member or guest not abide by the rules, The Weybridge Collection can enforce penalties or other disciplinarian actions.

Guestbook

After a visit, both the hosting Member and the guest Member fill out a guestbook for the visit. This allows both parties to comment on the visit. The guestbook is viewed by the entire community and is a venue for suggestions, grievances or praise. Comments on the guestbook are an added incentive for guest Members and hosting Member to make the visit as enjoyable and memorable as possible.

Don’t Have a Second Home?

Every Member must own a luxury second home to become part of The Weybridge Collection. If you currently do not have a home that qualifies, The Weybridge Collection has fractional home interests as well and second homes available for sale that are pre-approved for The Weybridge Collection. If you are looking to buy a second home and would like to have that home be part of the Collection, we will pre-approve the home before you buy.

Cancellation

After the initial reservation is booked, if a guest cancels they will lose all or a portion of the Weybridge Currency spent on that trip. See rules for details.

Membership

Membership in The Weybridge Collection Global Exchange Program is highly selective and based on strict property standards. Members who are not sponsored by another Member, must submit an application, show proof of ownership and agree to a background check. If approved, Members pay a $10,000 initiation fee and $1,500 in annual dues, payable by check or credit card.

General Membership Requirements

For a home to be considered to be part of The Weybridge Collection Global Exchange Program, the weekly rental value during peak season must be a minimum of $2,000 a week, located in a desirable travel destination, and be well-appointed and decorated.
